Sublimation on Aluminum

Sublimation is a unique printing technique that allows images to be printed on non-traditional substrates like metal. Dye-based inks are heat set onto white, polymer coating on a prepared aluminum sheet.  The transfer process and high heat changes the ink from solid to gas, infusing the porous polymer coating where the ink can never be removed or washed out.

These prints can be ordered in either transparent clear where the beautiful grain of the aluminum shows through in lighter areas or an opaque white that really intensifies the colours with your choice of either a 0.75″ or deeper 1.25″ C-bar hanging system.
